An easy high-altitude walk from the Gemmi pass across the Lämmerenboden to the SAC Lämmerenhütte, under the north walls of the Wildstrubel.
Gemmipass to Lämmerenhütte
A great first-hut day: you start at 2350 m and never really lose altitude. The Lämmerenboden is dead flat lake-and-moraine country, and the hut is right against the ice. Look for ibex above the trail on the way back.
