A demanding loop from Gruben deep in the wild Turtmanntal up to the little Turtmann lakes, with the Bishorn and Weisshorn in full sight the whole way.
Turtmanntal Panorama Trail
The Turtmanntal is the wildest side valley of central Valais, no ski resort, one hotel, and marmots on the moraine. The loop climbs to the little Turtmann lakes below the Barrhorn ridge and comes back along the panorama trail. The Weisshorn does not leave the frame all day.
