A grand panorama walk from Horbis over the Zieblenalp to the Fürenalp — with a detour to the 'End of the World'.
Road to little Patagonia
The hike starts in the village of Engelberg and first leads to the “End of the World,” whose cosy parlour serves coffee and croissants. After that comes a short but steep climb, and from the Zieblenalp you follow the high trail all the way to the Fürenalp.
The varied landscape and the many wild animals — best seen early in the morning — make this tour a real treat. At the Fürenalp you can reward yourself with a good meal and take the cable car back to the valley.
Tip: start early for the best wildlife watching — and for the panorama that lives up to the “little Patagonia” name.
