A remote balcony traverse from Schalb above Embd to the tiny cablecar hamlet of Jungu, hanging on the sunny side of the Mattertal.
Schalb to Jungu Balcony
Jungu is the sort of hamlet that gets its groceries flown in: a handful of wooden houses, a single small chapel and a big view across the valley to the Weisshorn. The balcony trail is narrow but well cut, and it gets almost no walking traffic.
