Among local hiking fans this tour is held as a trophy. Many fear the exposed Gitzitritt, which leads steeply up the Buochserhorn. If the path is dry, the objective dangers stay within a tolerable range; there are ladders and ropes at the difficult places, but you should still be somewhat free of giddiness.
The Buochserhorn offers a beautiful distant view over the lowlands and the high Alps. The descent leads toward the Bleikigrat, where concentration is required once more, before a well-earned beer on the Musenalp.
Tip: only in dry conditions — in return, one of the most striking tours on the Buochserhorn.
