Col du Grand-St-Bernard: Fenêtre Loop
A high circuit from the Grand-St-Bernard pass across the Col du Bastillon and the Fenêtre de Ferret, with the Combe de Drône lakes and, if lucky, a Grand-St-Bernard dog on the way.
Col du Grand-St-Bernard: Fenêtre Loop
A big lonely loop right on the Italian border. The Fenêtre de Ferret opens onto the Val Ferret and the north face of the Grandes Jorasses; the Lacs de Fenêtre catch the sky just below. The hospice at the pass is worth a stop on the way back, dogs and all.
