A refreshing gorge hike from Engelberg to Grafenort, over many bridges along the wild Engelberger Aa.
Enjoying nature on hot days
On hot days the hike through the Aaschlucht is more than welcome: in the shade and refreshing proximity of the Engelberger Aa, you walk through the impressive gorge to Grafenort. The many bridges over the wild river bring variety and charm, and along the way you pass Tonis-Balm, a spot that invites you to linger.
A very entertaining, easy tour with far more descent than ascent.
Tip: afterwards, take the train on to Stans or back to Engelberg.
